We operate the online store at www.paintedpic.com. To provide our services, sell goods and operate our website, we process certain personal data. A. Processing When You Use Our Contact Form If you contact us through our contact form, we process the contact details you provide, in particular:

  • phone number
  • name
  • address
Why? We use this information to respond to your inquiry or order. On what legal basis? Processing is necessary for pre-contractual negotiations or measures taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. How long do we keep it? If we do not proceed with an order, we keep your details for a maximum of 6 months from our last communication.

B. Processing When You Make a Purchase

If you make a purchase with us, we process the information you provide during checkout, in particular:
  • first and last name
  • address
  • email
  • phone number
Why? We need your details to fulfil the contract: to deliver your order and communicate with you about it, including any claims. We also process this data to comply with our legal obligations (accounting, tax, and handling of claims). On what legal basis? Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). How long do we keep it? We keep your data for as long as necessary to process your order and to comply with our legal obligations.

C. Newsletters and Marketing Communications

If you are a customer or have subscribed to receive updates, we may send you emails about news, promotions or inspiration from our collection. On what legal basis? If you are our customer, this is permitted under section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., the Czech Information Society Services Act. If you are not yet a customer, we only send such emails with your consent. How do I unsubscribe? You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of any email, or by contacting us at info@paintedpic.com. How long do we keep this data? For a maximum of 1 year from your last interaction with our newsletter, unless you unsubscribe sooner.

II. Who Has Access to Your Data?

Your data is safe with us. Access to your personal data is limited to our staff and to service providers who help us operate our store and services, such as:
  • our website and e-commerce hosting provider
  • payment service providers who process card or bank payments
  • delivery partners engaged to ship your order
We only process personal data within the European Union.
